Oh hi there Caribbean
I was on a boat for new years…and I had strep throat, which means I was instructed by the ship’s doctor to stay in isolation in my room (hence the solo reflection picture of me celebrating with myself).  Just thought I would get the worst part out of the way.  But then this boat took me to glorious places and I didn’t have strep throat anymore!  Good story, eh?
Anyways…Dominica had the greenest greens I have ever seen. Â Bonaire had the bluest blues I have ever seen. Â St. John had the most epic rainbow I have ever seen. Â In Curacao, a smiling character walked right into my shot – the easiest portrait I have ever taken!
I feel so lucky to experience all of these beautiful places.
Going on a trip?  Take me with you!  Seriously, I am travel sized and take pretty epic pictures :)

Long Haired Lovers | Couples Portrait Photographer Los Angeles
I got to shoot with these tattooed beauties a couple weeks ago.  They had just returned from driving across country working as elves for the holidays (that sentence pretty much tells you how amazing they are) and threw their clothes in a suitcase to come shoot with me!  These guys are serious rockstars – that will be the most obvious statement ever after you see the photos below.

Griffith Observatory | Los Angeles Family Portrait Photographer
I’ve shot with these lovelies for years and every shoot day has been filled with bright blue skies and perfect weather. Â Last week we met up at the Griffith Observatory to TOTALÂ cloud coverage…but we embraced it! Â Why not something new, eh? Â Playing in the clouds turned out pretty amazing if you ask me…
This might be my last blog post for a bit, holidays and travel plans soon to come.

Zocumentary – Day in the Life Documentary Family Session in Los Angeles

Heidi and and her son Zoli allowed me into their home for a day to capture their typical routines, their moments together that usually go unseen by the outside world. Â These moments are oh so precious and fleeting, it is a dream come true for me to do this type of meaningful documentation.

The Continental Divide
This girl (pictured below). Â One of my favorite people and she moved away from me to Denver! Â Well, the only good thing about this is I got to visit her in Denver! Â I had never stepped foot in Colorado before last week and was so happy to have an excuse to visit. Â Here are some photos from our mini roadtrip up to Winter Park and the Continental Divide. Â I might have complained a little too much about the cold but the photos turned out misty magical. Â It was worth the temporary freezing of my limbs.

The lovely Barbra invited me into her home to document her growing baby bump (and her two cute doggies). Â The images turned out GORGEOUS in my humble opinion :) Â It still blows my mind that we can create humans within our bodies, life is pretty miraculous.
